As temperatures rise during the summer season, ocean freight containers may be exposed to higher internal temperatures during transit. To help support a more stable shipping environment for cosmetics, CGETC will be operating refrigerated (reefer) containers during the summer period.
This service is designed for brands seeking greater control over transportation conditions for temperature-sensitive cosmetic products during warmer months.
Purpose
High summer temperatures can increase the temperature inside containers during ocean transit. By operating reefer containers, we aim to provide a more stable shipping environment and help support product quality during transportation.

From the 3rd week of April 2026 to the 1st week of October 2026

Container Type
Refrigerated (Reefer) Container
Set Temperature
Guideline temperature: 22–23°C
Please note that if there is a significant temperature difference between the outside environment and the container during unloading, condensation may form on the surface of the products or packaging.
Operation Frequency
One container will be operated during the 2nd week and 4th week of each month.
Please note that space is limited and bookings may close early.
Reservation
To ensure smooth shipment arrangements, reservations should be made at least 3 weeks before departure.
Important Notice
This service is intended to help maintain a stable internal container temperature during ocean transit.
Shippers are responsible for checking and managing product condition, packaging condition, and storage conditions prior to cargo intake. CGETC does not assume responsibility for issues related to the quality of the products themselves.
